Children's party planner Ruth Princess always thought she was
different, but didn't know why. Until she discovered, as an
adult, that she had ADHD. Ruth's discovery coincided with her
decision to leave the corporate world to become a party planner.
Princess says, "My attention span and the children's attention span is
really the same. In 45 minutes we'll do a variety of games and all of
them might last only five minutes each. And that just fits perfectly."

Princess said that while she has 50 themed parties she draws on,
the princess party for girls between the ages of 3 and 7 as the most
popular. "They start with a short story which builds anticipation for
the activities. The child opens the chest or trunk or box, which
is filled with costumes and accessories. We do individual
photographs, and the families get a free Web site with their hosted
party. They can print pictures directly from their computer." she [Ruth

"I recently ordered the game for my daughter's 4th birthday party, and
the kids had a blast," said Sarah Delavan. "It included a set of
instructions and clue cards that centered around my daughter. The whole
thing was really well-organized and easy to follow, so I didn't feel
like I needed someone there hosting the party."
